Uprising

Times are hard , crops have withered

Life equates into nothingness

Past seems haven

Present a living hell

Future an undying death

Eagles fly over lands

Rivers of blood flow

Reapers come in masses

While good men stay mute

People die in heaps

Prayers to dementors lie unanswered

Silent rebellion brews

All the while cruelty grows

Naive offspring questions senselessness

And death creeps everywhere like shadows in night

Reapers become a blessing

An escape from chaotic madness

Good men rise up

The forgotten gain heart'

Caesars reek of fear

Lambs are sent to slaughter

Last uprising is crushed

Leaders turned into slaves

reapers become a blessing

Life equates into nothingness

Past seems haven

Present a living hell

Future an undying death

........

Oh I sit and wonder
Looking over to the million dollar poster hung over thebroken thing
With a feeling that something is not right
What would it feel like to have a pocket full

To have a stomach full, more to buy more
Fully stitched clothes covering the malnourished body
Spending few to buy materialistic happiness for peoplearound me
And yeah with the rest, bills will be the best

That day that time will arrive
Others will be happy to see my wallet
Wherever I will go, they all will stand and notice
And I beneath happy, will be free to throw a sulky look overto they

Ah! I will attract you to me
Throw some diamonds free with plastic card
In a warm home with lit chimney
Will make sweet romance and I with you always

It’s foolish to think all this right on
With this lowly pay and huge bills
Yesterday gave my dream job interview
And today waiting for something to ring

I wonder how will I be part of the professional life?

Sleeping till 11 in the morning

Listening to the music while trying to get up

Running late for the afternoon class

I wonder how will I be part of the professional life?

Listening to the professor`s lecture

Appearing very drowsy and tired

But alert mind being far away

I wonder how will I be the part of professional life?

Finally reaching room after a hard days work

Being surrounded by family and friends

Getting warmed up for another late night adventure

I wonder how will I be part of the professional life?

Semester after semester, getting disappointing result

Each time promising you from this semester I will study

But soon falling back to old practices

I wonder how will I be part of the professional life?

College life is what defines me

I love it and want to live forever

Sadly the time will come to graduate

I wonder how will I be part of the professional life?

Death

In the cloud of smoke

I imagine what death is going to be

The death of swift and painless

Or slow and tortuous…..

The life of materialism is so useless

People running here and there

To gain an ounce of happiness which doesn’t even matter!!

Having the look in the deep sunken eye

All conveying the same thought

Why is he or that such a pain in the ass!!

While growing up, I never imagined such hollowness

The hollowness which can never be filled

No matter what you do, it still out there

Its rightly said man`s greed has no end.

I on the other hand have no wish, no worries to do this or that

All I wanted was a calm mind and the adolescent dream

I wanted to be with her and die holding her hands

The last image being that lovely face of hers

Alas!! It was planned something else

I only had her for borrowed time

The love, the hope all gone with her

She`s gone, the feeling of hopelessness is what I am left with

Sadly the time has come to carry on without her

But the dream of holding her hand still lingers inside

It`s such a pain and I don’t want that

Death please be swift and finish me off as effortless as permissible.

*Sigh* *Sigh* Why the hell do the i had to do that? Why couldn`t i have just listened to the people around me and done the right thing? Inspired by the poem "Road Not Taken", Harish for the first time went forward with his grand plans and did the right thing according to him.

Harish by nature was a carefree guy who never had dreams of his own. He used to do what others told him. He went to school and passed with good grades, all for the sake of his parents. He studied for engineering entrance test because his friends were doing it. Most of his friends had the dream of going to a perfect college and graduating with a perfect placement. And all Harish wanted to do was what his friends wanted to do. He had never given a serious thought to his life, career or even what was he going to do the next day. But all this changed after his coincidental meeting with a spiritual guru. The guru instilled a feeling of belief and pride in him and gave the "pravachan: Beta tu woh kar jo tera dil kahe......dusro ki mat sun....jo dil kare wahi kar" These were the life changing days for the young man who never cared for a thing in his life. After the departure of the Guru and his Pravachan, Harish went again back to his old ways.

One day he happened to catch hold of an old battered book in the library. Gazing and fast forwarding through the book, a thought provoking picture caught his attention. What he saw was a man with looking forward towards a road which was branching into two roads. One road was a busy road and everyone used to travel upon it. The other was a less frequent upon. Harish in order to satisfy his curiousity starting reading the poem. Externally he only took 5 minutes to read the poem but internally seeds of storm were being planted. He started thinking about his life and made a list of things which he wanted to do and the things he did because others did. List 2 was full and could have run into pages. List 1 had only Prerna. The girl whom he had crush upon in school. Due to some misfortune, he hasn`t been able to talk to her for years now. She was one being disappoint for him and now he harbours no feelings for her.

After reading that poem, something changed. His way of looking towards the same old things changed drastically. Lets say he became wiser and more worldly. And today was the first time he actually did what his heart told him and not what his friends told him. But sadly he failed miserably.

9 things you shouldnt do when you give directions

My sense of direction has always been bad. I am so pathetic that i can never retrace the path on which i had just walked upon. Countless of times I have lost my way and the faith of the people who were banking upon me. Sorry guys!!!

But the real fun comes when i give directions to those who really dont know their way. I am dedicating the next 9 advices for all those people who are "determined" to give correct directions at the cost of others.

9. Always listen to the hapless lost souls, not make up your mind and think that since they dont know anything so you can fool them easily.

8. Never ever give them complex routes as in the end they will forget what you have said.

7.Never ever look at the pretty girl while giving directions to her brother/boyfriend/dad.

6.Dont make any rude hand gestures at them.

5.Always make up your mind, whether the destination in the right/left turn.

4.When giving directions, your hand is facing towards the opposite direction you are telling them.

3. Always always give them landmarks like chachi da dabba, red light, panwadi ki dukkan, gaushala or bikanerwala.

2. Never shout the directions.

1.Try to look serious and concerned. Please dont give the "Harami" look. It never helps.
